Founded in 2014, Chalanas help business owners grow their businesses. Founded by Mr. Abhishek Chalana, an expert himself with over two decades of experience, Chalanas Business Consulting is a research based management consulting and advisory firm that ‘walks the talk’ and is much more than just a strategy firm.

How do we help?

Chalanas has helped dozens of companies worldwide and continues to work with business owners globally and across sectors. We Analyze our clients’ businesses, Build customized solutions and Connect them with the desired results. We call this process of ours A, B and C. Our clients consult with us to solve their business problems and seek our professional advice. We are their business confidante with whom they share and discuss their business sorrows. Inspired by our work, several of these clients hire us as their business coach, mentor and guide. These clients call us frequently to borrow and pick our brains whether to bounce off ideas, validate their hypotheses, discuss and overcome business challenges across their enterprises. We provide them our cents on their existing strategies and help them create new strategies customized to their businesses that enables them to become better versions of themselves, optimize employee performances, monetize opportunities, grow exponentially and inorganically. Clients also engage us to resurrect their businesses, turnaround distressed situations, recover from business disasters, control corporate damages and prepare to prevent future catastrophes.

Our Founder Profile

Our founder, Mr. Abhishek Chalana is postgraduate in Business Management and has experience of over 20 years working with Fortune 500 companies and Unicorns worldwide. He hung his employee boots and hats at the highest note of his professional job working in a Presidential position with what’s today popularly known as Asia’s largest primary research firm, which then was only a startup, a firm, of which he was also the Founding employee.

In his career prior to Chalanas, he has worked with who’s who of world’ top investment firms, family offices, intermediaries and corporates across the globe, sectors, verticals and horizontals. Mr. Chalana donned several hats in his career from building teams in sales, human resource, operations, marketing and research among other functions across the board. In this tenure, he worked directly with business owners and top C-suite executives, CXOs and other major stakeholders vis a vis decision makers at governments, embassies, public and private entities. Mr. Chalana has been part of a niche space that thrives on the knowledge business broking as a result of which he built his own personal professional people network over two decades, much like a private LinkedIn of his own. It is his this network that Chalanas leverages upon each such time when the need arises or push comes to shove for sector agnostic client projects worldwide. Mr. Chalana lives between Dubai, United Arab Emirates and New Delhi, India. He has innumerable certifications to his name. He often speaks at corporate conferences and webinars. He also volunteers at school for children with special needs, pro bono mentors several young entrepreneurs and startup founders and guest lectures to sophomores on ideating businesses. Mr. Chalana is Business Evangelist and a podcast enthusiast who enjoys research and being there for his clients not only as their chosen Consultant but also as their friend and counselor.

Our Team

Chalanas hires and swiftly puts together project team on bespoke basis for its client projects. This team comprises of senior industry experts and subject matter specialists to cover the technical aspects of the client projects. An on the ground team for the leg work is also hired to support the senior team on these projects. Team size varies from single to double digits.

Clients of Chalanas often engage with Mr. Chalana as their business advisor and Consultant with him either as their Board Member or Country Head for their specific businesses or entire portoflio. Mr. Chalanas also helps these clients Build teams, operate them successfully to the point they reach the auto pilot stage and then separate himself from the project slowly, gradually and evntually entirely prior the Transfer of reigns and reins. We call this methodlogy of our operations as BOT Build, Operate and Transfer.

Our client profile

Our clients are companies across sectors and geographies. Our clients range from B2B business to business line firms across a wide range of offerings style of traditional brick and mortar services, new age products, modern platforms, contemporary aggregators, e-commerces, IoTs internet of things and marketplaces. B2C business to consumer and B2G business to government are select other types of clients. Several of our clients are software and web application companies built on latest technologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence. By titles, they are Owners, Founders, Chairpersons, Presidents, Directors and CEOs at positive cash flow and all size companies with around 2 to over 80 years of business years in existence. Our contact point in these companies are always majority shareholders.

Modalities

All our clients have unanimously few key things in common. They all engage with Chalanas on fixed retainer fee model. Chalanas never accepts any projects that are purely commissions or success fee based only. Lowest fixed fee paid by our clients for any project either one time or recurring starts around a few thousand dollars. Minimum 50% of total project fee is always paid as upfront advance to commence work and to cover our costs of efforts and pursuing opportunities for them. As return on their investment, all our clients typically are delivered thrice to ten times the value in tangible, intangible, qualitative and quantitative measurable terms as agreed in our statement of works. New clients signup initially for three month trial periods prior entering long term agreements that span over few quarters or indefinite years. All our clients and the projects are exclusive with us. The first call of introduction between us and the clients are always free thereafter which a charge of few hundred dollars per call applies for providing them the DIY knowledge solutions for their business problems highlighted and discussed during such calls. This works well for our clients that seek only verbal knowledge and not execution or strategical blueprints in writing. All new clients sign NDA a non disclosure agreement followed by Statement of Work SOW as an integral part of our compliance and the SOW becomes from thereon the reference document to ensure deliverables provided to the client are according to the SOW. After these two documents are signed and returned to us, a payment link is sent to client. Upon receiving the payment, Chalanas arranges for the kickoff call or meeting with the client and its representatives assigned to the project.
